LIFE Terra joins ASES to restore an ecosystem in Lentillères, France

The Life Terra project joined forces with the company ASES in a joint initiative to restore a forest in Lentillères that had undergone intensive logging. This project, funded by E. Leclerc hypermarkets, not only involved the planting of 1000 trees but also the construction of structures to combat erosion using natural materials found in the area.

A total of 30 different species were planted in the restoration area. These trees will not only act as carbon sinks but also promote local biodiversity and stimulate the development of fauna in the area. This holistic approach aims not only to restore the forest but also to strengthen its role as a vital ecosystem and sanctuary for wildlife.
